What is Ultimate Outdoor Photography about?

Ultimate Outdoor Photography, or short UOP, is about the outdoors and it is about photography. These are 2 passions that unite the contributers to this website and we aspire to give you an insight in our view of the world and its unique scenery and people.

Outdoor - Our Understanding explained

The basic idea for this project was born during a stay abroad in Kerala, India. The passion for photography and for being outside in God's wonderful creation triggered this project and we are happy that we are now able to present it to you! The concept behind this project is to show you the great facetes of what being outdoor means for us. The idea for us is more than you would probably add in the first place: people tend to think "only" about scenery & probably doing sports. In fact, these are 2 of the focal points, though OUTDOOR is only complete if you add PEOPLE and the LEGACY they leave behind.

Being out in the streets of the villages and cities we pass thru for us is as much outdoor as being on the top of a moutain and witnessing the silence on the peak. Thus, PEOPLE will bring to you pictures of brothers & sisters around the globe - "plain" people shots as well as pictures of "people in motion", i.e. doing what they love to do. LEGACY is about the marks and signs we leave behind in this world, meaning that it this is a category for pictures about culture and urban themes.

Our Photography & Vision

We really hope you'll like this project and we hope you'll like some of our pictures too. The people providing content to this website are all passionate photographers, but not necessarily professional ones, we just love what we do and hope you're doing so as well. By doing this project we also want to contribute to a better understanding of our world and what is going on in it. Especially with MOTHER EARTH and SPORTS we want to remind you of the preciousness of our planet and that we are meant to protect it. This should also be reflected by the logo we chose for our project. We are ONE with the WORLD we live in.
